Golden Jubilee – Sister M. Camillus Cagney

On 15th August family members and the sisters gathered at Kedron to celebrate and give thanks to God with Sister Mary Camillus for fifty years of religious life and ministry.

Mass was celebrated in the Convent Chapel by Friars from the parish, Fathers Peter Clifford and Father Brian Lester.

After the mass all present gathered in the Parish Hall for lunch followed by power point presentations recalling special family occasions and highlights from the long missionary service of Camillus as a nurse in Papua New Guinea. The day was truly one of celebrating a long life of service.
