Pauline Robinson
What do I do?
My ministry is varied. As Assistant Leader in our Australian Governance
Circle I work as Treasurer and have responsibility for Educational matters
and the good conduct of the Boards that govern our institutions. This
takes up about half of my time.
The other half of my ministry is as Project Officer at Mt Alvernia College.
I am responsible for the development of value resources for staff and
students: the eight Franciscan values of love, compassion, simplicity,
and peace, service, joy, trust in God and respect for all creation which
are embodied in the College Mission Statement.
Where do I carry out my ministry?
In Brisbane at the office of our Australian Governance
Circle and at Mt Alvernia College at Kedron.
What Franciscan values underpin how I minister?
In my various roles as part of the Australian Governance Circle, as
in my interaction with the staff and students of Mt Alvernia, I am conscious
of living out the Franciscan way of life - living out as well as
I can the Franciscan values which I spend so much time trying to
pass on through our institutions.
“Let them neither dominate nor seek
power over one another,
but let them willingly serve and obey one
another with that genuine love
which comes from each one’s
heart.”
