What do I do?
Much of my life has been spent in Administration. A number of primary
schools in Brisbane claimed my energy until I was asked to oversee the
building of our retirement community in Kedron and to be responsible
for the overall management of the complex which of course includes pastoral
care of the residents and interaction with their families.
Where do I carry out my ministry?
At Delamore – the gracious heritage-listed house which is the
administrative and community centre of the Delamore Retirement Community,
a resident funded retirement community consisting of independent living
units and serviced apartments located in the beautiful grounds of our
Franciscan Convent here at Kedron.
What values underpin how I minister?
In keeping with the Franciscan spirit, each resident of Delamore is
valued as an individual and treated with respect and gentleness.
I value each staff member who, as a member
of a team with me, makes every effort to ensure that Delamore is a beautiful
place with a peaceful environment where residents
spend their retirement years happily and creatively.
